It looks as if December is bringing quite a lot of surprises for Anushka Sharma. At first, she surprised her fans owing to her surprise marriage in Italy among close family members and friends. After that, she announced that she would be a part of India’s tour of South Africa after which she would join Shar Rukh Khan for the yet untitled dwarf film directed by Anand L Rai. However, this time Anushka Sharma was caught by surprise when she received a letter from the Ministry of Defence.
There is no reason to worry as the letter was a letter of appreciation. Our honorable Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on behalf of the defence forces has reportedly written a letter of appreciation to the actress for her support towards the Armed Forces Flag Day. It was on 7th December 2017, that Anushka Sharma, along with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan and director Anand L Rai, decided to embark their presence in an army camp and showed their love and support towards the Armed Forces on the Armed Forces Flag Day.
The stars built awareness for the immense sacrifice and courage that Indian Defence Forces make to keep our country safe and secure. Anushka Sharma has always shown her support for the Armed Forces owing to her Army background. Recently, she was also the face of the campaign that showed support for the wives of martyred army and para-military men.
Anushka Sharma will be next seen in her home production Pari, starring Parambrata Chatterjee and then in the yet untitled dwarf film starring Shah Rukh Khan.
